Ambient 4: On Land by Brian Eno: Ambient. The fourth and final part of the ambient series, which is lucky as I thought I was heading into some sort of Rip Van Winkle ambient coma. This album has a slightly dark and sinister undertone to it. Most of the songs are named after places that Eno had actually been to or ones where he imagined what they were like. Personally if these pieces of music are the soundtracks to these places I’m glad I didn’t go with him to them. TWH: Lantern Marsh; Unfamiliar Wind (Leeks Hill);
Grade: B
