All Mod Cons by The Jam: Mod/Pop Punk: When Weller was an angry young man and thought he was going to be dropped by his record label, he made one last gasp attempt for success with this bitter and angry album. It worked. The lyrics are biting and songs stuffed full of jealousy, sarcasm, fear and a little bit of regret burst in your face like sour balloons.
