Taking a break from Arctic Monkeys, Alex Turner teamed up with best mate Miles Kane and proceeded to produce an album in thrall to 60s Scott Walker and Bowie, with a dash of Beatles on the side. It’s wordy as would be expected with some fantastic lyrics but it is lacking in any really memorable tunes.
